We have to upgrade many of the facilities

At the top of the Priority List for UCH are:

​

• New Kitchen: The original kitchen, designed to feed 25, urgently needs upgrading to feed UCH kids and the children attending the Uluru Nursery and Primary School. 

  • Our plan is to build a stand-alone kitchen and dining hall to cater to both UCH kids and the community kids.

• Secure Drinking Water for the UCH is a critical issue with extended drought and depleting ground water. Our strategy is a mix of ground water, rain water collection from roofs, trucking in municipal water and efficient use of water. 

​

• Improved collection and treatment of waste water from different buildings is planned with separation of grey and black water and environmentally sustainable disposal.
